Submission Criteria
 


Qualifications for Entry
Entries should fulfill the following requirements:
- An original digital animation or animation-reality crossover short clip
- Address to the theme of :Futuristic Fairytales;
- 90 - 120 seconds in length
   
Eligibility
- Entrant could be an individual or a group of no more than 3 people.
- Entrant must be the sole and exclusive owner of the copyright of the Entry. Where there is more than one Entrant to an Entry, all of the Entrants must be exclusive owners of the copyright of the Entry.
- The age of Entrant (all individuals and group members) should range from 18 - 35 years old.
- Entrants must be citizens or legal residents of any country in Asia.
- Employees (including their immediate family members) of the Organizer, Sponsors and Supporting Organizations are not eligible to enter this competition. The Organizer reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all Entrants.

- Entry work (DVD)
- Creative Statement

Terms & Conditions
1. All Entrants must create their own original work and the submitted works must not contain other people・s creations. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any work that contains:
a. pornography, sexually explicit, obscene or indecent content; or
b. reference to dangerous or illegal acts; or
c. extreme violence; or
d. material containing "hate speech" intended to stereotype a particular gender, sexual orientation, race, religion and/or nationality.
e. material infringing other party・s copyright, trademark, design, patent and/or any other intellectual
property rights and/or proprietary rights; or
f. privacy or the revealing of personal information belonging to others; or
g. unlawful, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, libelous, tortuous, or any otherwise objectionable content.
2. The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant if:
a. the Organizer has reasonable grounds to believe the Entrant has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, or
b. invalid, incorrect, inaccurate and/or insufficient information is provided by the Entrant in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
c. Any Entrant tampers with the entry process.
3. Entrants cannot modify their works after submission.
4. The submitted work represents the Entrant・s point of views only.
5. If an Entry contains any material that may infringe on any copyrights, neighboring rights, rights of portrait, publishing rights, trademarks, or any other rights, it is the responsibility of the Entrant to obtain permission from the right holder and take whatever other measures as necessary, at his or her own expense, before the Entry is submitted. Any complaints or claims from a third party regarding works submitted for the competition shall be resolved by the Entrant at his or her own expense and without inconveniencing the Organizer.
6. The Organizer does not accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorized access to Entries, or Entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
7. The Organizer does not have the right to authorize other parties to use the Entrants・ works for any commercial purposes. Any use of the Entries for commercial purposes will be subject to the conclusion of a separate agreement between the Organizer and the copyright owner of the particular Entry.
8. Unless otherwise indicated on the Application Form, the Entrant grants the Organizer the right to use the Entry for publicity or promotional purposes in any and all media.
9. The Entrants are the only ones who can reserve the right to use (and to authorize other parties to use) their works for any commercial purposes.
10. All materials submitted by the Entrants, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the Entrants. The Organizer is not responsible for the content of the materials submitted by the Entrants. Under no circumstances the Organizer will be liable in any way for any content of the said materials. It is the responsibility of each Entrant to check and meet his/her local judicial requirement before submitting his/her entries.
11. The Application Form, Rules & Regulations and other entry conditions have been prepared in Hong Kong and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People・s Republic of China. In the event of any dispute regarding the judging or awarding of prizes, the sole and exclusive venue shall be in Hong Kong.
12. A Chinese version of the Rules & Regulations is also available for reference. In case of doubt or discrepancies between the two versions, the English version of this Rules & Regulations shall prevail.
13. The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes concerning these Terms and Conditions will be posted on the Competition website
