Mr. Alexander
Wong
Creative Design Guru of Asia, Award-winning Animation
Creator,
Director & CEO of jidou
Limited (Hong Kong)
Alexander Wong studied in
the UK and later graduated from Princeton University
(US) before returning to Asia in the early 90's. In
2001, he founded Jidou Limited, an innovative design
and multi-disciplinary office conducting projects
in The Post-Knowledge Economy including Digital Entertainment.
Their animation series ¡§Jidougames¡¨ became the first
sports anime available on 3G in Hong Kong to coincide
with the Athens Olympics in 2004.
Following this early success, Jidou
Limited was able to sign ¡§Jidougames¡¨ with Hong Kong
Cable TV in 2006 as a TV series, thus making history
for Independent TV in Hong Kong. This was soon followed
by winning the HKICT Awards in 2006. ¡§Jidougames¡¨
will also be aired on GMA7 in 2008, the second largest
terrestrial TV network in The Philippines, making
a significant break-through in the history of Hong
Kong's Independent DE Industry.
Wong is also a well-known Architect
and the recipient of numerous awards from the HKIA
(Hong Kong Institute of Architects). In 2007 alone,
he garnered both the Ten Outstanding Designers Award
and Merit Award (as one of the Top 5 Finalists from
162 international entries worldwide) for the Hong
Kong Design Institute Competition. He has been hailed
as "Design Maverick" by the SCMP (12 Dec
2006); "modern Renaissance Man" in D+A Singapore
(Sep 2005) & WestEast (Apr 2002).

Mr. Joe Jasin
Wireless Tech. Entrepreneur of U.S.A., Vice President,
Corporate Investments of SK Telecom International (U.S.A.)
Joe Jasin has built
a 14-year International career within the wireless
telecommunications industry, establishing a depth
of experience that includes mobile internet, technology,
venture capital, and corporate development.
Jasin currently serves as Vice President of Corporate
Development for SK Telecom, Korea¡¦s No. 1 mobile communications
company, with offices in the U.S. and throughout Asia.
Jasin oversees investments and partnerships at SK
Telecom, including¡@a $1 billion dollar investment
in the Chinese mobile operator, China Unicom.
In addition, Jasin presently holds positions with
numerous committee and industry groups - the founder
and chair of the Software Development Forum¡¦s Mobile
internet group, formal advisor to the U.S. State Department¡¦s
¡V APEC Office of Commerce, and a member of CTIA¡¦s
Wireless Internet Caucus.
With extensive experience in technology-based telecommunications
industry, Jasin is annually invited to judge and moderate
for the worldwide Nokia Business Plan Competition,
an idea showcase for convergence-technology entrepreneurs.

Ms. Ranee Kok
Award-Winning Fashion Designer,
Founder of Fashion Label ranee_k (Hong Kong)
A refined sense of the relationship
between material, color and form with an Entrepreneurial
Spirit are combined to make Ranee Kok a name to watch
out for in the Fashion Industry.
Graduated from the University of British
Columbia in Accounting & Finance, Kok furthered
her studies in Fashion at Parsons School of Design
in New York. After graduation, Kok interned at Donna
Karen and shortly after - in 1999, launched her own
fashion brand ¡§ranee_k¡¨ in New York, followed by the
opening of her first signature shop by 2000 in Hong
Kong.
Kok¡¦s work gained instant acclaim
for designs inspired by Art Deco and Hong Kong¡¦s unique
mixture of cultural influences ¡V a fusion which she
calls ¡§an expressive dialogue between the East and
the West¡¨. More importantly, Kok believes clothing
should offer a sense of confidence and identity to
woman of all cultures.
In addition, Kok involves her design
in various projects, such as fashion label & uniform
design, and brand endorsement & promotion for
different brand names in Hong Kong and Overseas. Kok
also frequently participates in Art and Charity functions
such as the Building Hong Kong Exhibition and Red
Tee Charity Campaign etc.
In 2007, Kok created ¡§Sassy Mimi¡¨,
the fibre glass sculpture collection, for the ¡§Six
Degrees of Separation¡¨ exhibition held at Hong Kong¡¦s
EDGE Gallery.
Throughout the years, Kok has
won numerous internationally acclaimed awards, including
¡§Ten Outstanding Designers Award¡¨ organized by HKCAC
& ¡§40 under 40 Award¡¨ by Perspective magazine
as one of the 40 Most Outstanding Young Designers
in Greater China in 2007, ¡§Outstanding Successful
Woman¡¨ by Marie Claire & ¡§Glamorous Lady Award¡¨
by La Prairie in 2005 and ¡§Young Talent Designer Award
2002¡¨ by Harper¡¦s Bazaar.

Ms. Crystal Kwok
International Actress, Edutainment Pioneer,
Director of Red Green Productions Limited (Hong Kong)
Born in San Francisco, Crystal
Kwok studied in both Los Angeles and Hong Kong. After
wining the beauty pageant ¡§Miss Chinatown USA¡¨ in
1987, Kwok quickly started her colorful life in the
Theatre Arts industry with multiple roles.
Kwok is a renowned Hong Kong actress,
filmmaker, producer, stage performer, talk show host
and educationalist for kids. After starring in ¡§Police
Story 2¡¨ and ¡§Dragon Forever¡¨ with Hollywood superstar
Jackie Chan, Kwok went on to study Theatre Arts in
UCLA to develop her directorial career. In 1994, Kwok
directed a documentary on Jackie Chan for the French
TV Channel, Canal+. In 1999, she appeared as a unique
and original female director in her first Award- winning
movie ¡§the Mistress¡¨ exploring controversial topics
such as female sexuality from the psychological point
of view.
Kwok hosts talk shows on both the
radio and TV such as¡m¤k¤H¤ß¡non i-Cable, dealing with
taboo subjects including sex life in Hong Kong. She
also participated in the internationally staged drama
¡§The Vagina Monologues¡¨ with Perry Chiu & Koon-Lan
Law.
As a mother of 3 children, Kwok
established Red Green Productions Limited in recent
years to produce ¡§Culture Cubs¡¨, a bilingual entertainment
& educational program featuring 2 bear friends
playing in a Mandarin-English bilingual world. The
program has a delightful mix of animation, music,
dance and word games tailored for kids aged 2-8.

Ms. Irene Lam
Global PR Doyenne, Global PR / Corporate Communications
of Cheil Worldwide, Samsung Group (South Korea)
Born in Hong Kong, Irene Lam
completed her formal education in the US upon graduating
from Barnard College, Columbia University in 1995.
Lam was also trained as a classical violinist at Juilliard
School of Music and Manhattan School of Music.
Lam returned to Hong Kong after
graduation and began a career in the publishing field.
In 2001, Lam joined Perspective Magazine (HK) as Editor-in-Chief,
building the foundation for the first, high-end, specialized
interior and architecture design magazine in Hong
Kong. Lam was also responsible for marketing activities
including the launch of the first Perspective Design
Awards in 2006. In addition, Lam introduced additional
titles - Interiors Plus and Perspective Plus annuals.
In 2006, Lam moved to Seoul, Korea in hopes of getting
in touch with her Korean heritage. As of March 2008,
Lam joined Cheil Worldwide, an affiliate of Samsung
Group - the advertising and marketing arm for Samsung
Electronics, as Senior Planner in the Global PR division.
Lam is responsible for all press relations relating
to Samsung's advertising and marketing campaigns as
well as for Cheil Worldwide's International agency
branding.

Prof. James Moy
Renowned Scholar in Creative Media, Dean of Faculty
of Art,
Ontario College of Art & Design (Canada)
An internationally accomplished
researcher, teacher, writer and studio painter, Prof.
Moy joined the Ontario College of Art & Design
(OCAD) as Dean of the Faculty of Art in July 2008.
Established in 1876, OCAD, Canada¡¦s ¡§university of
the imagination,¡¨ delivers art and design education
that links studio-based learning with historical,
critical and scientific inquiry.
Previously, Prof. Moy served as Dean
of the School of Creative Media at the City University
of Hong Kong, Dean of the College of Fine Arts at
the University of New Mexico, and Chair of the Department
of Theatre and Drama at the University of Wisconsin
- Madison.
In addition to his great curiosity
and passion for visual and performance art, Moy has
also lectured internationally from Nanjing and Hong
Kong to Ulan Ude, Stockholm, Venice, London, Thessaloniki,
and Tampere. He has published numerous scholarly articles
and reviews in refereed journals and is a former editor
of ¡§Theatre Journal¡¨ (Johns Hopkins University Press).
One of his books, ¡§Marginal Sights: Staging the Chinese
in America¡¨ (1993) offers readings of plays in production,
film, performance art, photographs, cartoons and museums.
Moy holds a PhD in Theatre History
and Playwriting from the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign, and MA and BA degrees from the University
of Illinois at Chicago.

Mr. Terence Wong
Computer Animation Expert, Deputy Head of Dept. of Printing
& Digital Media, Hong Kong Design Institute (Hong
Kong)
Having started his career
in a television station and several other channels
for over eight years, Terence Wong then joined the
Education sector specializing in Digital Media. Wong
joined the Hong Kong Design Institute under the Hong
Kong Institute of Vocational Education (Kwun Tong)
in 2000. Being the Deputy Head of the Department of
Printing & Digital Media, Wong plays a significant
role in the development of the department and its
curriculum. With extensive experience in digital media
education, Wong is invited as one of the sample paper
setters by the Hong Kong Examination and Assessment
Authority for the new senior secondary curriculum.
To strive for further excellence and
professionalism in the field of 3D Computer Animation
and Digital Media, Wong constantly equips himself
with up-to-date knowledge. For several years, Wong
has been qualified as the Certified Trainer for Autodesk
Maya, Flame, Smoke and Apple Shake, in addition to
being awarded as ¡¥Master Trainer of Final Cut Pro¡¦
by Apple.
In 1998, Wong¡¦s production ¡§Zhong
Tian Prime News¡¨ won ¡§the Best News Programme¡¨ of
Asian Television Awards. Moreover, Wong was awarded
the Council Chairman¡¦s Award and Teaching Excellence
Award by the Vocational Training Council during his
service period. During 2006 ¡V 2008, Wong was elected
as Manager of Society of Motion Picture and Television
Engineers (Hong Kong Section). At present, Wong is
one of the executive committees of the Hong Kong Digital
Entertainment Association.
